**What you’ll do**
- Designs, delivers and revises REB sessions and all content, tools and other related web-based materials on various research ethics professional development topics.
- Attends professional development activities to remain current with the expectations and guidelines of the federal Tri-Agency and associated bodies, as well as provincial requirements and guidelines regarding relevant compliance issues.
- Facilitates professional development workshops relating to such topics as research effectiveness, research methods, and best practices research data management.
- Tracks requested REB data, statistics and benchmarks for reporting and analysis.
- Provides leadership to administrators, faculty, and staff by assisting to define goals, meet target dates and ensure alignment with Research Ethics Board, to facilitate the continuous improvement of research-based initiatives, programs and projects.
- Answers all inquiries regarding research ethics compliance obligations and identifies and gathers information on issues requiring administrative action with considerable judgement and initiative.
- Drafts policy content in collaboration with AVP and Research Managers and takes part in cross-campus policy consultations.
- Proactively tracks and maintains compliance with Tri-Agency regulations in Research Ethics, Research Data Management and Research Security.
**What you’ll bring**
- A master’s degree with experience in research design and implementation.
- Two years of recent experience in a similar role within research ethics and research activity in an institution’s research department/office.
- Recent successful completion and certification of TCPS and OCAP training.

- The typical salary range for this role falls between **$68,994 - $91,992** per annum, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity, with future opportunities for performance-based pay and career progression.
