We’re growing and hiring a Carpet Cleaner to drive our COIT vehicle to assigned customer locations and perform carpet-cleaning services as required. The Technician is expected to maintain a high standard of customer service, offer additional cleaning services, and complete daily paperwork.
- This position is physically demanding requiring walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive pushing and pulling of the carpet-cleaning equipment. The equipment weighs approximately 50 pounds, must be unloaded from the vehicle, and carried to the worksite, including upstairs if required.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Learn and keep updated on all company products and services.
- Use appropriate cleaning products, wear safety equipment, and follow all safety procedures.
- Ask customers for additional business and successfully sell add-on services and products (upholstery cleaning; succession sales; wood floor services, etc.)
- Follow established policies and resolve customer complaints and challenging situations in a professional manner.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles with good judgment, obeying all rules of the road.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Complete route sheet daily and have all supporting documents in order.
- Wear a clean company uniform and maintain personal grooming and appearance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier.
- Physically able to lift equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds and carry as required.
- Industry experience helpful, with knowledge of various types of carpet and upholstery, preferred.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Must be bondable and pass a background check.
- Sales or customer service experience helpful.
