Lockside is currently seeking the right individuals to help with our growing needs & clientele at our location in Young’s Point. Increasing our sales and keeping up our great reputation and service. With a small business atmosphere, you will always be involved in the business growing, with hands on experience.

Specializing in custom Canadian made furniture, knowing the importance of keeping it local and supporting our fellow Canadians.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Retail Sales in Furniture, Home Décor, Lighting, Window & Floor treatments, Giftware and Clothing.
- Café and Ice cream parlor customer service
- Providing exceptional customer service, increasing sales, and build lasting relationships with customers.
- Store merchandising, pricing, POS System, and inventory control
- Marketing and promoting Lockside (social media, online, networking, etc.)
- Offering Locksides Interior Design service, helping clients achieve the look they want in there living space with the right products from Lockside.
- Acquire information for clientele and businesses
- Prepare quotations and presentation for clients.
- Finding and working with trades through Lockside (contractors, realtors, designers, etc.)
- Helping in all aspects of entrepreneurship in a small business atmosphere

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Must be out-going, friendly, and self-motivated.
- Organized and efficient
- Attention to detail and highly motivated.
- Sales and Design experience
- POS System
- Excellent customer service and Effective communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time
- Willing to constantly learn product knowledge and gain expertise on what Lockside can offer
- Professionalism and teamwork skills
- Flexible working hours weekdays and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3-4 months

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
