**Your Tasks**:

- Initiate movement of materials and goods between the different departments of the site, handling according to the warehouse & storage order.
- Serving and taking back materials to/from production according to the needs of production.
- Ensure proper flow and disposal of industrial waste, packaging and scrap.
- Maintain proper inventories and their administration, continuous control with the help of the applied administration system (SAP WM).
- Report non-conformities such as damaged containers, parts or materials to immediate Supervisor.
- Active participation in control inventories (rolling, yearly cycle counting).
- Checking the functionality of the forklift (good operating condition) during takeover/transfer, recording the status in the machine log/daily maintenance checks.
- On shift changes, the work area is handed over/accepted in accordance with the regulations.
- Loading and unloading of materials into/from the warehouse.
- Active participation in Continuous Improvement, KAPS team work and project work.
- Observance of the storage order of materials and goods (FIFO), continuous maintenance and observance of order and cleanliness in the designated area according to KAPS, 5S and Safety regulations.
- Familiarity and compliance with IATF 16949 regulations related to the job.
- Carrying out operational activities related to logistics equipment and maintaining their operation continuously, aligned with Supervisor.
- Responsible for keeping storage, shipping, and receiving areas neat, clean and safe as per safety and company guidelines.
- Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and followed accordingly.
- Ensures he/she is in full compliance with the laws of Ontario and/or any other province or state, while representing KIRCHHOFF Van-Rob Inc. or during the use of any KIRCHHOFF Automotive Inc. provided equipment.
- Perform any other reasonable logístical tasks assigned to you by your supervisor.

**Your Profile**:
Work Experience (provide details and minimum # of years required)
- 1 - 2 years related work experience (automotive or manufacturing environment)
- Valid forklift license (with experience on Counterbalance and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck)
- Basic understanding of IATF 16949/ISO14001 requirements and Occupational Health & Safety Act guidelines
- Knowledge of WHMIS (Work Hazardous Material Information Systems)

Skills (language, technical, computer etc.)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Basic mathematics skills
- Computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Word, Bar Code label machine, GroupWise, SAP, etc.

Education
- Grade 12 Education or relevant experience
