1931 Gallery Bistro is a unique dining experience located in the iconic Vancouver Art Gallery in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Named to honour the founding year, 1931 boasts a 120-seat licensed outdoor patio space overlooking Robson Square, in addition to our vibrant interior dining room. We serve upscale casual bistro fare with an international bend.

We are currently hiring a part time DAY dishwasher to help support our busy summer season with potential for transfer to full-time advancement and training into the kitchen team.

We took the name 1931 Bistro to acknowledge the founding legacy of the Gallery and use that deep Vancouver, British Columbian history to create a contemporary bistro experience that mirrors our community of today. **Location**

We are located at the Vancouver Art Gallery, 750 Hornby Street, Vancouver BC, V6Z 2H7. We can be accessed through the Vancouver Art Gallery on Hornby or the stairs off Howe and Robson.

Sunday + Monday Day Availability required.

Job Responsibilities:

- Washing and organizing dishes
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and floors
- Taking out garbage and recycling
- Helping other staff
- Working on line during busy periods and preparing food
- Prep work with kitchen team.
- Observing proper distancing and personal hygiene
- Previous work experience in commercial kitchen preferred.
- Able to work 9-5 pm. Weekends + Mondays.

Compensation:

- $18/hour + tips
- Free Staff meal
- 30-minute paid break for every shift of 5 hours and more
