Cioffis Group [Meat Market] is seeking a full-time meat cutter/butcher to our team. The market is located along Hastings Street (near Gilmore Street).

Cioffi's is a family owned company dedicated to quality food. Our culinary team shares a passion for fine food and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The perfect fit for our company is someone with a good palate for a wide variety of meats, cheese, fine foods and has a personality to match.

Job Requirements:

- Inspecting the quality of the meat upon delivery
- Boning, trimming and portioning
- Cutting for retail sale and orders
- Breaking down carcasses (sides and hinds)
- Conducting end-of-day clean-up
- Other duties as required

Required qualifications:

- Some experience as a butcher is an asset (minimum 2-3 years)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in person
- Knowledge and experience cutting beef, pork and poultry
- Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
- Ability to read and converse in English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Time management and problem solving skills
- Available on weekends, and shift work
- Ability to read and converse in Italian is an asset

Hours:

- Retail Division operates 7 days a week
- Start times at 9:00 am
- Hours and days of work may shift to accommodate company needs
- Available to work weekends on rotating shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
