**Co-op, Electronics Technician - Petroleum Payment Systems
We are seeking a Co-op, Electronics Technician to join our team. We specialize in the maintenance and repair of petroleum equipment, electronic payment systems and fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations.
You will be working with a team of certified technicians on both mechanical and electronics systems. **If you are searching for a role that will allow you to explore, this is the role to experience a wide range of work**
**The role**:
- Service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operations. This can include fuel lines, dispensers, pumps, fuel tanks, etc.
- Diagnose and repair electronic payment systems and related network cabling.
- Build hours towards petroleum technician accreditation (PMH, etc.)
- Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray BGIS in a positive manner always.
- Develop independent judgment in solving unusual work problems.
- Develop strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with our clients.
- Develop understanding of and ability to complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Possess the physical and mental capabilities to manage multiple tasks at a time.

- Currently enrolled in university or college, working towards an IT- or electronic-related program.
