Become part of the Banff Park Lodge Collection of Hotels team We are a vibrant and innovating locally owned group of hotels on the edge of downtown Banff. Our two sister properties, Bow View Lodge and Peaks Hotel & Suites, complete the team. We also operate 3 dining outlets with over 19,000sq ft of meeting space that requires catering concepts for a variety of groups and special events.

Thank you for your interest in joining our team as **Catering Manager** In this position you would be working day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience.

**This is generally what your day-to-day would entail**:

- Lead and manage the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed,
- Be a part of recruiting and oversee staff training,
- Create staff schedules,
- Provide excellent customer service and react quickly and professionally to guest concerns,
- Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs,
- Contribute to departmental meetings,
- Review all banquet event orders to ensure proper set-ups, coffee breaks and meals are in place,
- Work with the Conference Services & Catering department to ensure that revenues and guest satisfaction levels are maximized,
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Banquet colleagues in accordance to productivity guidelines,
- Follow all policies, procedures, and service standards,
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage,
- Making weekly schedules,
- Conducting payroll reports and ensuring accuracy,
- Monthly inventory,
- Report to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage & Director of Food & Beverage,
- More as needed or assigned.
