**The Riverine Retirement and Independent Living is looking for a Resident Care Attendant to join our team.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**1. **Must consistently demonstrate support of the homes Mission and Values.**

**2. Experience with Medication Administration, medication administration course considered an asset.**

**3. **Successful applicant must have the ability to fulfill the job expectations and responsibilities as set out in the Resident Care Attendant job description. Evaluate staff performance to ensure efficiency.**

**4. **Ability to work hours as scheduled and availability for all shifts.**

**5. **Ability to perform duties in accordance with the Retirement Home Regulatory Act and policies and procedures of the Home.**

**6. **Must have genuine interest and ability to work with residents who may have one or a combination of physical limitations, behavioral problems, communicative problems, and/or memory disturbances.**

**7. Must be able to demonstrate ability to positively interact and communicate with residents and visitors of the home.**

**8. Must be able to demonstrate ability to positively interact and communicate with residents, family members, and visitors**

**9. Must have current CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain immediately.**

**10. Must have effective interpersonal and organization skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently within time constraints.**

COVID-19 considerations:
Must wear surgical mask over nose and mouth while on duty, must adhere to COVID protocols. Home has a mandatory COVID vaccination policy in place. Antigen testing per the homes policy.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
