**Job Title**: Room Checker

**Reports To**: Housekeeping Supervisor / Director
**Location**: Downtown Toronto

**Job Overview**:
The Room Checker plays a key role in ensuring that guest rooms meet the hotel’s cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards. This role involves inspecting rooms after housekeeping has completed cleaning, verifying that all amenities and facilities are in place, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas after housekeeping services.
- Verify cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures.
- Ensure all room amenities, supplies, and equipment are properly arranged and functional.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the appropriate department promptly.
- Confirm rooms are ready for guest occupancy in accordance with hotel standards.
- Maintain records of room inspections and provide feedback to housekeeping teams.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Physical ability to inspect rooms thoroughly, including bending, lifting, and walking throughout the property.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Room Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
