**Family Place Facilitator**

Semiahmoo Family Place (SFP) is a welcoming non-profit family resource and drop-in centre serving South Surrey/White Rock for over 28 years. We provide safe, creative, and supportive spaces where children and caregivers come together to play, learn, and connect.
We are seeking a **creative, empathetic, and dynamic Family Place Facilitator** to join our team. In this role, you’ll design and lead engaging play-based activities, support families with resources and connections, and help nurture a sense of belonging in our community.
**Responsibilities**
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for families.
- Facilitate creative play-based early learning, circle times, parent support programs, and family wellness activities.
- Support caregivers and children by offering encouragement, information, and resource & referral.
- Collaborate with staff and partners to deliver programs and events.
- Facilitate program setup, cleanup, food preparation and maintain safe, organized spaces.
**Qualifications**
- Education in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Family Resource Programs, Creative Arts, Social Services, or related field (ECE preferred).
- Knowledge of local children and family resources
- Experience working with children (birth-12) and their caregivers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build trusting relationships.
- Creative, flexible, and enthusiastic about family-centered learning.
- First Aid certification, Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain) and criminal record check required.
- Leadership skills & Team spirit
- Passionate about community building and strengthening families
- Additional languages are an asset.
