**Join our Caregiving Team**

For more than 20 years, Nurse Anytime has provided customized, private home care services for seniors and their families. We are looking for qualified and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide casual and part-time care to our clients in their residences.

**Position**:

- You would be required to work day shift or evening shifts helping the client with 2 person transfers( LPN will be on duty as well to assist). You may also assist the client with his in/out catheter and other duties as required. **The shifts are 5 to 6 hours in length, and you get paid 1.5 hours for travel. Shift times will be 7am-1pm and 5pm-10pm.**

**Job Duties**:

- Assess clients to identify necessary level of care;
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate client care in consultation with clients and their families;
- Identify and respond to issues affecting client safety;
- Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in clients' condition;
- Make recommendations for changes to the care plan;
- Administer medication and treatments including as prescribed by a physician or according to established policies and protocols;
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment;
- Perform other health care aide duties as determined in the care plan;
**Skills and Personal Attributes;**
- Very strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a diverse client group;
- Extremely client and teamwork focused;
- Strong listening, verbal and writing skills;
- Proficient in Windows-based software programs;
- Experience in home care is desirable.

**Position Requirements**:

- Completion of an approved Health Care Aide Program
- Valid CPR certificate
- Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
- Possession of a valid drivers license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
