- In this site based role you will be situated full time at one of our exciting project sites in Kitimat, British Columbia. You will be fully supported as you continue to build your skills, support a schedule driven project where the emphasis will be on people, client interface, development and management.- Plan and direct the work activities of all involved crafts for assigned construction crafts in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and materials
- Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities
- Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
- Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- Other duties as assigned

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Provide input for step listing development for mechanical pipe installations
- Perform site verifications to ensure job packaging is according to field requirements.
- Plan and develop installation work packages for the execution team.
- Identify resources required for related scopes including parts, labor, equipment, materials, special tools, procedures, critical lifts, documents, and specialty contract services.
- Work with the execution supervisors to assign level of complexity to the jobs.
- Ensure all necessary updates and revisions to procedures and other documents are done.
- Perform Scoping Sessions to identity and break down larger construction work packages into smaller installation work packages.
- Work closely with the scheduling team to align installation work packaging planned start and planned finished dates.
- Package material components and manage reservations for site delivery.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Preferred five plus years with planning and supervision experience.
- Steam-fitting red seal trade certificate with proven knowledge of mechanical trade in a construction planning position.
- Must be mechanically proficient and have a good understanding of mechanical piping systems.
- Knowledge of P6 scheduling, construction work practices, performance measurement,
- Possess excellent organization, proactive mindset, time management, and communication skills.
