We are looking for another Maintenance Associate to join our team

Summary of the role

As Maintenance Associate, you’ll be helping to create an attractive, safe, and well cared for environment for our members and staff. You will aid in the setup of our special events and helping support other departments through a wide range of tasks both inside the clubhouse and around the course. You’ll also have an opportunity to learn the basics of building maintenance - plumbing, electrical, and many other types of repairs; skills to use both in and out of the workplace.

The employee is responsible for set-up and teardown of special events as well as cleaning and

maintaining Clubhouse facilities as directed by the Maintenance manager.

General Responsibilities:

- Set-up and teardown of the meeting and special event rooms as outlined.
- Prepare room environment such as lighting and music.
- Maintain venue including vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, walls, windows and mirrors.
- Proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, dance floor, etc.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:
Previous maintenance experience preferred - not required

Reliable transportation is required

Physical Requirements:
Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8‐hours in length

**Job Types**: Part-time up to 40 hours

**Salary**: $18.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON N6G 5B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driving License (preferred)

- Weekend & Overnight Shifts
