**Job Summary & Key Responsibilities**
- Instructors are responsible for teaching and supervising a group of BScN students who provide direct client care in clinical settings, work in a clinical skills and simulation lab or tutorial group setting. Tasks include but are not limited to lab demonstrations, marking and proctoring term tests and final examinations as well as evaluating assignments.

**WINTER** 2026**:

**SIMULATION**LABS**: Not to exceed 67 hrs
(Weekly labs are held on Thursdays)

**Two-week**CLINICAL**: Not to exceed 100 hrs

**TUTORIALS**:Not to exceed 22 hrs (Weekly tutorials are held on Thursdays)

**3-Week**CLINICAL**: Med/Surg placement** (approx. 140h)

**4-Week**CLINICAL**: Med/Surg placement** (approx. 180h)

**1-Week Mental Health**CLINICAL**:

**Qualifications/Requirements of Position**
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, an active RN license with the NSCN, as well as two years of recent clinical experience are required. Clinical teaching experience (which may include preceptorship of staff or students) is essential. Instructors working in the lab are required to participate in SIM training sessions or workshops.

**Salary Range/Pay Rate**
- Per CUPE Collective Agreement
