Our 20 warehouses positioned throughout North America support our distribution capabilities and allow us to serve our diverse customer base across Canada and the U.S.

**Job Summary**

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for overseeing inventory control problems in Pestell Nutrition inventory. As part of this role, the incumbent will be actively involved in investigating the root cause of problems and generating solutions. The identification, and solution generation will be linked to the continuous interaction with each department.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Understand and become familiar with the various products that the company offers
- Work directly with your team members in accounting for related activities
- Perform both office and warehouse work, walking the warehouse floor, oversee inventory counts, participate in counts, completion of counts while troubleshooting variances
- Complete detailed inventory reports and assist with analysis
- Provide assistance with general transactions with the goal to adjust pricing or fix discrepancies
- Get to the bottom of inventory issues or problems regarding customer returns or credit
- Work directly with company departments to discover, identify, investigate and create solutions to address problems with inventory
- Establish and maintain control over product location within the warehouse and ensure sales is continuously aware of product location and inventory by continuously updating records
- Seek to continuously drive efficiency, seek ways to improve and streamline systems and processes
- Complete productions and facilitate returns
- Proficiently utilize company ERP system
- Continuous communication activities with all departments to ensure up to date information is shared regularly
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least 3 years of an active accounting background, with superior mathematical skills
- Must have many years of warehouse inventory control experience: 5+ as a minimum
- Must have direct experience with inventory control, investigating issues and generating solutions - this must be supported with a strong analytical mindset
- Must be very proactive, deadline conscious and be able adapt solutions and strategize with creative ideas to address issues
- Must have an outgoing demeanour and personality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a dedication to quality solution generation
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal guidance, must utilize a strong work ethic, be accountable and take initiative
- Must possess a strong desire to learn and contribute to team, department and company success
- Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, ERP systems

*This job involves standing/walking/bending, some manual labour moving product around and sitting
