**Position Overview**:
As a Controller at Kizos Culture, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our organization. This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid work environment, with occasional on-site visits required for onboarding, team meetings, and other essential activities.

Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not a requirement. Your expertise in CPG or similar industries will be highly valued as you help steer our financial strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement financial risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA designation is a plus).
- Proven experience in a Controller or similar finance leadership role.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or other consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors is an asset.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and/or hybrid work environment (Location: Becancour, QC).
