**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

**Summary**
The Human Resources Generalist is a critical member of our HR team, supporting all facets of human resources across multiple locations. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role offers exposure to a full range of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, health and safety, employee relations, and more. It’s an ideal opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional looking to grow their impact in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

**Job Duties**
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across all departments and facilities.
- Partner with the HR Manager on key HR initiatives such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, health & safety, and payroll.
- Draft employee communications including offer letters, employment confirmations, termination, and severance documentation.
- Maintain and update HR documents including organizational charts, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of HR presentations, training materials, and reports to support company-wide initiatives.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee files and HRIS records, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries—providing timely, supportive, and professional guidance.
- Support health and safety initiatives and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Conduct research to support continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and employee engagement strategies.
- Perform other HR-related tasks and special projects as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management.
- CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in a generalist or coordinator HR role, preferably within a fast-paced or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHSA, Human Rights Code, etc.).
- Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with ADP or other HRIS systems is a strong asset.
- Ability to travel to our Milton and Etobicoke facilities on an as-needed basis.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
