The Personal Support Worker is accountable to the company to provide excellent personal care to clients. Primary functions include providing care according to the established client care needs. The Personal Support Worker is required to perform their duties in a manner consistent with the core values of the company, ensure client safety, and demonstrate customer service excellence.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Care for clients during periods of illness or surgery recovery
- Providing one-on-one care for elderly clients such as assisting with bedside and personal care to clients and help them move, feeding, bathing, and dressing
- Plan and prepare meals
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess certification as a Personal Support Workers through a recognized College or educational institution. Consideration will be given to those with a valid Health Care Aide Certificate
- Proficiency in interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

**Experience**:

- Care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- PSW Certificate or equivalent (required)

Part-time hours: 60 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear a mask within the clients’ home and vaccination certification is required. Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gravenhurst, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
