Bodyshop Prepper/detailer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Vehicle Prepper/Detailer** to join our growing body shop team at **Preferred Collision Kingston**. In this role, you’ll help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of vehicles while learning hands-on auto body repair skills from experienced professionals.

**Duties**:

- Assist with prepping vehicles for bodywork, including sanding, masking, priming, and top coating
- Help repair surface damage such as dents, scratches, and cracks
- Ensure all repairs are completed on time and to a high standard
- Support licensed technicians with bodywork as needed
- Clean and detail vehicles inside and out (washing, vacuuming, polishing, etc.)
- Move a variety of vehicles safely, even in tight spaces
- Keep the shop, detailing bay, and lot clean and organized
- Additional tasks as assigned

- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in a collision centre
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- A solid work ethic and reliability
- A valid G driver’s license and a clean driving abstract
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
- Relevant experience (2-3 years) is a strong asset but not required

**Compensation and Hours**:

- $18-$22 per hour, based on experience
- Monday to Friday (no weekends or evenings)
