Arena Attendant

**Overview**:
As part of the Community and Leisure Services Department, the City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill three (3) seasonal, casual Arena Attendant positions to begin immediately. The position is anticipated to last from September to the end of April 2025 and will consists of mainly evening and weekend shifts.
Reporting to the Parks Supervisor, the Arena Attendant will ensure that participants of the recreation facilities have a safe and enjoyable experience. The positions primary tasks include:
- Assisting with on-ice maintenance activities including moving nets, ice monitoring and assisting with other maintenance tasks.
- Custodial tasks including cleaning dressing rooms, washrooms, spectator seating, arena glass, vacuuming entrances, and other custodial duties.
- Attending to user requests, as necessary.
- Assisting with event set up and take down.
- Removal of recycling and garbage.
- Assisting with minor repairs to the facility.
**Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal
Pay: $18.27 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 15 per week
