**Location**: Wingham Distribution Yard

**Position Summary**:
**Full-Time, Monday - Friday**

**Position Qualifications**:
Education & Knowledge
- Completion of Secondary Education or Equivalent (Asset)
- A valid Driver’s License
- A Forklift Certificate (may be obtained through employment)

**Skills**:

- Self-starter & Team Player
- Excellent time management
- Physical strength is required for manual material handling
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Experience
- 2 year of related experience in Material Handling, Shipping & Receiving

Communication
- Excellent English Communication skills (oral and written)
- Interpersonal skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate (and inspect) material handling equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles to the warehouse and yard
- Opening containers and crates, fill orders, assist in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually and/or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage and staging areas
- Maintains a clean, safe working environment for self and co-workers
- Consistently maintains acceptable level of productivity
- Comfortable in a fast paced working environment
- Ship, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials and stock with attention to accuracy
- Sorts and quality controls incoming materials
- Handle, move, load and unload materials by hand or material handling equipment
- Inventory activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking
- Clean truss surfaces and inspections as required by supervisor dependant on workload
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor dependant on workload

**Salary**: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
