**The Opportunity**:
We’re currently hiring a **Full-Time, Permanent Co-Store Manager** to join our team.

As a Co-Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all store operations, including maintenance of facilities, inventory control, merchandising, sales, cost containment, and employee management and motivation.

**Duties Include**:

- Direct and oversee the complete retail operation of the store in alignment with company policies and Owner objectives.
- Drive strong customer relations by maintaining presence on the sales floor, resolving complaints promptly, and supporting staff in providing excellent service.
- Supervise, train, onboard and develop employees to maintain high performance, morale, and readiness for advancement.
- Maintain professional appearance, communication, and behavior, setting a positive example for staff.
- Manage inventory to maximize profit and supervise accurate and timely merchandise displays, markdowns, and in-store promotions.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Prior leadership/management experience in a Home Hardware Building Centre, other lumber/building material store, or large retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of market trends and competition in retail and contractor sales industry.
- Valid Ontario ‘G’ class driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Must be able to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 lb.
- Proficient with computers and related business systems (POS, etc.).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- **Please note**: Reliable transportation is essential as Chemong Home Hardware Building Centre is not on a bus route.

- Monday to Friday, daytime or afternoon/evening shifts
