The **Parking Patroller** provides operational support through upholding and enforcing the local parking ordinances while assisting customers with parking needs.

Principal Job Duties:

- Monitor on-street parking meters for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances by following an assigned route.
- Issue approved parking citations for vehicles in violation of ordinances in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Upload handheld computer to obtain current information required for work on a daily basis.
- Screen for parking placards and permits for special privileges within approved areas.
- Resolve customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain and care for all company issued equipment.
- Contact appropriate individuals and document in the event of incidents.
- Follow safety and work with airport security patrolling.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property.
- Other related job duties.

- Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s License with at least two years of driving experience.
- Detail-oriented and capable of accurately recording vehicle information using electronic devices or manual tickets, as well as reconciling financial operations and revenue at the end of each shift.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
- Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 22.67 kg
- Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift
- Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
