**Job Overview**:
We are looking for professional individuals having
- Experience in glazing industry with commercial fabrication and installation.
- Experience in fabricating and installing - Windows, Doors, Storefront, Curtain Wall, Framing, Skylight, Canopy, Railing, Office Partition, Shower Door, Window Screens, etc.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others with strong interpersonal and communication skills, are reliable and self-motivated.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and Understand blueprints and specifications.
- Measure & layout openings for size and shape.
- Measure and cut glass, aluminum, and other metals.
- Assemble, and install aluminum frames and other metals.
- Knowledge on how to handle/carry glass properly.
- Fabricate and build frames/curtain walls.
- Responsible for safety on job sites.
- Responsible for tools and materials on site.
- Create positive work environment.
- Operate site equipment such as CNC Computerized Shaw, Cranes, Zoom Booms, and other Lifts.
- Load and unload materials and supplies.
- Read and understand blueprints and architectural docs.
- Installation of curtainwall systems, doors, skylights, and storefront systems.
- Inspect systems for quality control.
- Adhere to all site safety requirements.
- Willing to perform other relevant duties as deemed necessary.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year Glazing Apprentices
- Journeyman Red Seal Glazier Certification
- Professional experience needed.
- Valid Class five (5) driver’s license.
- WCB clearance is required.
- Must have own tools, safety equipment/gear.
- Ability to use all hand tools.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to work alone or with a team.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T5L 3C8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
