Shipper/receiver

Atlas Machining is hiring We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. **Duties**
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents and quantities against purchase orders.
- Manage all incoming raw materials by accurately marking with pertinent tracking details.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by cleaning parts, completing part counts, packing parts securely and labeling them accurately.
- Track inventory levels.
- Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Operate forklifts to load/unload trucks and move materials within the shop.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving areas.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, particularly in shipping and receiving roles.
- Familiarity with order picking, order fulfillment, and package handling processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Be able to handle heavy items (weighing up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's license required and willingness to drive throughout Central Alberta for pickup/deliveries. Clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively and cohesively in a team environment.
- Must have a positive attitude, be willing to accept feedback.
- Be willing to identify both problems and solutions in the workplace

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
