Underwriting Support Administrator

**Specific responsibilities**
Today, we are looking for an Underwriting Support Administrator who will be in charge of preparing the files and documentation necessary for the analysis of the files by the underwriters, send the decisions and handle the problematic placed files. the main areas of responsibilities will be:
Prepare the daily work
- Open the mail and handle faxes
- Sort out files according to the procedures
Files processing
- Create files in DAVE system
- Generate the M.I.B. requests
- Collect the information and documents received electronically for each of the files to be underwritten
- Manually input the customer information according to established procedures and available information
- Enter the decision made by the underwriter in DAVE system
- Process with files closure
Update decisions:
- Verify underwriters decisions
- Send the decision to the ceding companies according to established procedures
- Validate decisions sent by peers
Problematic placed files treatment:
- Process facultative cessions transferred by administration department for resolution according to established procedures
Customer service
- Respond promptly and diligently to all requests from internal and external customers
**Education and Work Experience**
- Office automation/secretarial degree (Community College or equivalent)
- 1-2 years’ experience in secretarial/administrative support
- Insurance experience, an asset

- Bilingual (French and English, written and spoken)

Aujourd’hui, nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) administrateur/trice, Support à la sélection des risques **à Montréal ou Toronto**. Vos futures missions seront de préparer les dossiers et la documentation nécessaire à l’analyse des dossiers par les tarificateurs, faire l’envoi des décisions et traiter les dossiers placés problématiques.. Dans ce cadre, vous serez en charge de:
**Préparation du travail quotidien**
- Ouvrir le courrier et traiter les fax
- Trier les dossiers selon les priorités établies
**Traitement des dossiers**
- Créer les dossiers dans le système DAVE
- Générer les demandes au M.I.B.
- Colliger les informations et les documents reçus électroniquement pour chacun des dossiers à tarifer
- Saisir manuellement l’information du client selon les procédures en vigueur et les informations disponibles
- Saisir la décision prise par le tarificateur dans le système DAVE
- Traiter les fermetures de dossiers
**Mise à jour et vérification des décisions**
- Vérifier les décisions des tarificateurs
- Faire parvenir la décision aux cédantes selon les procédures établies
- Valider les décisions envoyées par ses pairs
**Traitement des dossiers placés problématiques**
- Traiter les cessions facultatives transférées par l’administration selon les procédures établies
**Service à la clientèle**
- Répondre promptement et de façon diligente à toutes demandes de la clientèle interne et externe

**Expérience et formation**
- DES requis; une formation post secondaire en secrétariat, secrétariat médical ou bureautique un atout
- 1 à 2 ans d’expérience dans un emploi de bureau
- Expérience en assurance un atout
