We are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Group External Reporting team within the Chief Financial Controller area. The team is responsible for Aviva plc financial reporting which supports external messaging to our investors and the markets, as well as the production of high-quality Annual Report & Accounts and regulatory returns under the Solvency II framework. The team is also at the forefront of developing a Centre of Excellence for Climate and Non-financial reporting.

**A bit about the job**:
This role will support the production of the Aviva plc IFRS financial statements and notes, Solvency II QRTs and narrative reports, ensuring accuracy, adherence to tight deadlines, technical and business relevance. The post holder will work proactively develop collaborative, positive relationships with stakeholders across the Group. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day decision making for processes within remit to ensure all reporting milestones are met and key controls operated effectively. The role will also support the wider team in delivery of key projects as required.

**Skills and experience we're looking for**:

- Qualified accountant with post qualification experience and familiarity with accountancy at scale.
- Financial Systems experience and comfort with high volumes of data.
- Excellent analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels and across different geographies.
- A positive attitude to change and new challenges and an ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

**What you'll get for this role**:

- Starting salary up to £56,000 (national) and up to £72,000 (London) depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
