**Primary Purpose of Position**:
Priestly Demolition Inc. (PDI) is looking for someone who is a team player, with a positive attitude, who is reliable, safety conscious, willing to learn and demonstrates interpersonal skills. The Crusher Foreman, reports directly to the Project Manager and is the main contact for all field crusher personnel. They are responsible for instructing personnel on how to use equipment, reporting on activities, efficiently storing all materials and workplace safety.

**Job Duties**
- Plan, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of laborers and equipment operators and subcontractors who are engaged in the project.
- Ensure all site resource (labour, machinery, materials, sub-contractors etc.) are effectively utilized and monitored in order to achieve timely completion of projects
- Instruct and train employees in the safe operation of site equipment, tools, various job techniques and skills.
- Lead personnel to maintain a clean and professional worksite
- Employ safe work practices for themselves as well as personnel
- Complete various project related paperwork and hand in to head office weekly
- Daily Records - everyday
- Work Authorization Sheets - When extra work is performed on site
- Trucking Tickets - Fill out ticket every time a load leaves the site
- Safety Related Paperwork - Tool Meetings, PSI, Incident Reports
- Correspond with customer to ensure they are satisfied with you and your crews’ ongoing performance on the project. Communicate any issues to superintendents and Project Manager
- Maintains accurate inventory records and provides performance and status reports.
- Implement efficient storage methods, yielding ready accessibility of materials, permitting efficient space utilization and flexibility of arrangement, minimizes material deterioration and allows ease of physical inventory.
- Ensure product quality through gradation testing when necessary
- Responsible supporting with crusher set up and take down.
- Operate loader as needed

**Position Requirements**
- Minimum two years working in Crusher operations
- Two (2) years as a Foreman
- Through knowledge of production process
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- WHMIS, Surface Miner, Working at Heights and any other safety certificates are considered an asset

**Work Conditions**
- 24/7 availability may be required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Travel to site locations may be required
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots
- Overtime as required.
- Union initiation may be required (506 Local)

**Additional information**
- Clients may require all personnel to be vaccinated against Covid-19 as a condition of your employment
