**Type of position**: Trainee

**Description**
- Perform the entire cycle of an automation engineering project.
- Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (piping and instrumentation diagrams, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details).
- Program PLCs.
- Draft reports, plans and specifications, construction and purchasing estimates and calls for tenders, where required.
- Prepare technical data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, level) and control valves.
- Provide technical assistance during construction work (electrical and instrumentation).
- Perform inspections or technical surveys.
- Participate in equipment commissioning and performance testing at client sites.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production or Electrical Engineering in progress
- Interest or relevant experience in automation or instrumentation, including participation in the detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors
- Asset: bilingual (English and French)
- Available for short-term work assignments at client locations or sites
