**Where does the Shipper/Receiver fit in?**

As the Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for shipping, receiving and recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from establishments. You will support with inventory cycle counts and check for any discrepancies. You will have a forklift license and act as back-up to ensure timely & accurate customer shipments according to 5S and FIFO requirements.

**What you can expect as our next **_**Shipper/Receiver**_**:

- Support with inventory cycle counts and report any discrepancies
- Ensure timely and accurate customer shipments
- Stage / “pick” customer orders and ensure accuracy
- Pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions
- Maintains cleanliness / organization of the warehouse and finished goods area
- Maintains lot tractability records / forms as required
- Determine method of shipment and prepare bills, invoices and other shipping documents
- Operate a sit-down counter balance forklift
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Inform Management of material discrepancy as required
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas, maintaining internal record-keeping systems.
- Performs all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations
- Ensures compliance to TS-16949 systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance / enforcement of Axiom Group plant standards
- Perform additional tasks as assigned

**Do you have what is takes to be our next **_**Shipper/Receiver**_**?**
- Completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Forklift License (Sit-down counter balance forklift)
- Strong attention to detail for assessing incoming and outgoing shipments
- Good verbal and written communication skills, able to read and write in English
- Must have basic computer and calculator proficiency
- Must be punctual, reliable and good work ethic.
- Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
