Supply Chain Manager

Dynamic Windows & Doors, a well-established manufacturer of luxury window and door products is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

Dynamic is looking for a positive and results-driven individual with great communication and negotiation skills, someone self-motivated with an eye for detail.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and leading the purchasing, inventory and logistics team, the Supply Chain Manager’s primary goal is to lead the company forward in securing on time delivery, inventory and provide clear visibility of incoming supply.

**What you’ll be doing?**
- Working out of our head office in Abbotsford, BC.
- Experienced in purchasing and inventory processes.
- Liaise between operations/production and purchasing.
- Build & negotiate strong relationships with suppliers and logistics companies
- Leverage volume and negotiate cost-savings.
- Manage the flow of inventory from purchase order to receipt.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing, inventory, hardware and logistics team.
- Ensure vendors meet delivery targets for manufacturing objectives.
- Reduce vendor lead times.
- Lead inventory and purchasing continuous improvement projects and processes; batch reviews, weekly counts, monthly counts, year end counts.
- Deploy and implement lean material management processes such as Kanban, pull systems, min-mx, JIT etc.
- Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, item parameters.
- Proactively drive the culture of 5S and zero safety incident for the business
- Communicate key supply chain metrics, delays and updates to relevant site personnel.
- In addition to head office, work with the operations team on remote coordination of purchasing and inventory with our satellite manufacturing center in Latin America.

**What do you bring to this role?**
- Computer experience and strong experience in all Microsoft Office Suite and ERP platforms.
- Post-secondary education and/or experience in purchasing and operations management with an emphasis on supply chain management.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong business financial acumen.
- Ability to lead multiple teams and personnel.
- Understanding of SAGE purchasing and inventory software is preferred.
- Familiarity with overseas purchasing, customs process and international logistics.
- Any window and door experiences are assets, but not required.
- Verbal or written Spanish language skills are assets, but not required.
- Ability to commute/relocate: - Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
- Standard working hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm. However, additional hours may be required to full fill time sensitive job duties.
