**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- This role will support all testing and validation activities for projects under Information Security portfolio and work closely with the PMs and BAs to complete all deliverables.
- To read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested
- Inform the PMs and BAs about what all resources will be required for testing
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
- Execute all the test cases, document test results, and update the test log.
- Work with other team members and administrators to capture the required evidence.
- Coordinating and participating in the entire quality assurance process, which includes
requirements review, test strategy and plan creation, creating test cases, creating
traceability matrices, executing tests, creating and managing issues, and reporting
results.
- Organizing and facilitating reviews and walkthroughs of the Test Strategy, Plan, and Test
Cases.
- Identifying the root cause(s) of system defects by troubleshooting data issues.
- Provide feedback to conduct re-testing of test cases which do not have sufficient
evidence or are not documented thoroughly.
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience within Information Technology programs and/or Cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation,
communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools
- 3 + years of experience in security in an enterprise environment
- 2 + years of experience with Azure or any cloud service, Google suite, Okta, IGA domain
- Ability to clearly communicate Information Security matters to executives, end users,
analysts, peers
- Experience identifying and validating security requirements for software.
- Demonstrated logical and structured approach to time management and task
prioritization in support of team work goals.
- Strong analytical skills, documentation skills, and awareness of change management;
ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong collaborative mindset and able to function as a contributing member of the team.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
