Requisition ID: 152286 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **Purpose of Job**: The Analyst will support the Senior Manager with designing, developing and implementing solutions for GRM in areas of reporting ,other risk and business intelligence initiatives. The Analyst will work closely with the business stakeholders to review and assess business needs for improved risk information and to help the Senior Manager to define system enhancements to respond to business, operational and management requirements. The Analyst activities include data analysis, documentation, and support in reporting implementation and delivery. The individual must thrive on challenges, be proactive and dynamic, demonstrate initiative and sound judgement, be a team player and eager to learn and be customer focused. **Responsibilities**: - Assist the Senior Manager, Risk Reporting and Analytics with the design, development and implementation of management and regulatory reporting solutions or enhancements to existing reporting by: - Ensuring timeline and delivery commitments are tightly managed and aligned with reporting or project deliverables. - Ensuring quality of analysis and reporting solutions are per requirements and expectations - Ensuring regular operations of reporting solutions adhere to cross functional SLA requirements - Validating and cross-checking data and analyzing period-over-period changes for a variety of reports. - Gathering, arranging, processing, and analyzing data for insights using a range of tools not limited to SQL and Power BI. - Analyze data quality, completeness, and reasonability for suitability of regulatory and management reporting. - Effectively communicating with multi-functional teams across GRM, IT&S, Finance, Retail and Credit groups. - Running ad-hoc queries for internal stakeholders. **Job Requirements**: A minimum of two or more years of progressive, relevant and practical experience with world class organizations, preferably with financial institutions, in information management fields. The incumbent must have experience and knowledge of data models, testing, problems solving and data analysis experience in order to work cross functionally within an environment of multiple data repositories. Particularly, excellent knowledge and experience in the following areas are essential: - Working knowledge of data query tools like SQL. Knowledge of other data analysis languages like R, python, or SAS an asset. - Working knowledge of BI tools like Power BI and Power query - Provide on-going support to our partners and business stakeholders. - Assist with managing projects and coordinate work with Project Teams and provide post rollout support for system enhancements. - Working with large amounts of data from a variety of different sources - Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills - Experience effectively working in a global matrix team, across a range of functions, seniority and geography; - Highly motivated, organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of project and process management disciplines and a positive 'can do' attitude; - Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task, while being results oriented and team focused; - A broad range of cross-functional business, industry and functional knowledge is required to integrate technical solutions with business requirements. - Effective research and analysis of business requirements and functional specifications leading to the completion of complex functional specifications or External Design Documents. Graduate university degree (typically in a quantitative discipline like finance, mathematics, business administration, statistics or equivalent).
