- Manages the execution of new equipment contracts from order booking through warranty.
- Directs, plans and monitors resources for project completion, assessing manpower and material requirements.
- Monitors project manager quotations of engineering and manufacturing lead times for proposals.
- Conducts regular project review meetings to follow contract performance status.
- Develops strategies for project margin improvement through order changes and reduction in costs.
- Collaborates with sales and operations departments to obtain information needed to engineer and manufacture orders.
- Provides support to sales through advisory input to proposals and presentations.
- Works with sales department in negotiation of terms and conditions, order changes and potential warranty or backcharge items.
- Assesses available technology for project management improvement.
- Provides supervision for the project management, bill of material and drafting functions.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field, or a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an on-site Project Manager
- Demonstrable knowledge of commercial construction trades and proven experience (even if mínimal) in both project management and estimating disciplines
- Managed the successful delivery of multiple, multi-year projects with less than 5M budgets, less than one year project timelines, and many stake holders
- Experience in managing smaller projects involving engineering, procurement, and construction
- Familiarity with Primavera scheduling tools or a willingness to learn
- Speak, read, and write English, and French would be an asset
- Familiarity with boilers and steam generating equipment or keen willingness to learn
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work according to our customers schedules which may include weekends / after hours.
- Must be able to wear proper PPE for the job
- Experience with, or a willingness to learn, equipment operations
- Familiarity with ASME, NFPA and related codes, welding procedures
- Ability to read, write, and understand contract language, contract drawings, and contract specifications
- Ability to work as a team member on projects with an aptitude for problem solving
- Organized and detail oriented
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities
- Positive presence and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, and motivator
