**Your Team**:
Join the Flight Operations Training team at Flair, where safety, quality, and excellence in pilot development are at the heart of what we do. As a Synthetic Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality simulator training to Flair’s flight crew. You will also support the development of training syllabi and course materials to ensure our programs meet the highest industry standards. This role reports to the Director of Pilot Training and is part of a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining training excellence across the airline.

This role is based on-site at our Toronto (YYZ)**office.

**A Day in the Life**:

- Collaborate with the training team to develop training scripts, PPCs, briefings, and other course material to ensure training quality.
- Provide positive leadership, support, and feedback to students during training sessions.
- Assist the Director of Pilot Training in monitoring and implementing instructor standards.
- Contribute to the development of best practice policies for training implementation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all training-related matters.
- Maintain communication channels within Flair’s operations structure and coordinate with third-party training sites.
- Support the Safety Management System (SMS) program through participation and reporting.
- Support special projects as assigned, contributing to various initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and other initiatives as assigned.
- Be available for travel as required by business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- ** Education**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related field is preferred.
- A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is required.
- Flight Instructor Rating required.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pilot, preferably in commercial aviation.
- Proficiency with Boeing 737 NG and/or 737 MAX is preferred.
- Previous experience conducting simulator-based training, proficiency checks, or Line-Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) is an advantage.
- Experience in developing and delivering structured training programs, including syllabus creation and course material development.
- Familiarity with regulatory training requirements (e.g., Transport Canada, FAA, or EASA) is preferred.
- Experience working in a high-performance training environment with an emphasis on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and engaging training sessions.
- Excellent presentation and instructional skills, fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
- Strong leadership abilities to provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the training team to develop comprehensive training materials.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, industry best practices, and training methodologies.
- Proficiency in using flight simulation software, training devices, and other relevant instructional tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced training environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements
- ** Requirements**:

- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
