**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled Production Quality Technician to join our team at our

manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring that products meet stringent quality

standards through regular inspection, testing, and collaboration with operators. The ideal

core quality tools, and proficiency with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers

and micrometers.

The Production Quality Technician plays a critical role in maintaining product quality

and ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. Effective

communication is key, as the technician will be working closely with operators and

supervisors to resolve quality-related issues and document inspection outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Assessments: Perform regular quality inspections on incoming materials

and outgoing products.
- Reject Non-Conforming Products: Reject any products or materials that do not

meet quality standards.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and

specifications to understand product requirements.
- Measurements & Testing: Measure product dimensions, conduct functionality

tests, and compare results to specifications using tools like micrometers, vernier

calipers, and height gauges.
- Documentation: Document inspection results on inspection control sheets, lot

tracking sheets, and other relevant records.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non
- conformance reports (NCRs).
- Team Coordination: Communicate with the production team to ensure products

meet quality standards and orders are shipped on time.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all inspections and tests are performed in

compliance with safety policies and quality standards.
- Use of Measurement Tools: Operate and maintain core measurement tools

(micrometers, verniers, etc.) and conduct non-destructive testing (e.g., dye

penetrant testing).

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician

in a metal or automotive manufacturing environment.
- Measurement Tools Expertise: Proficient with measurement and inspection

tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and understanding of product

quality assessments.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for

documentation and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in

English.
- Blueprint & GD&T Knowledge: Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric

Dimensioning and Tolerancing) drawings and blueprints.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with operators and supervisors,

while also being able to work independently.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining

quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of materials.
- Regular use of hand, eye, and finger coordination for measurement and

inspection tasks.

Additional Information:

- Compensation: $21.00/hr with overtime pay available.
