**Position: Client Analyst**

**Reporting To: Manager, Process and Analytics**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review and validate electronically submitted Carrier Invoicing to Rate Contracts to ensure invoice accuracy
- Maintain client profiles and carrier contracts
- Prepare and validate reports, and period-end financial accruals
- Participate in analytical studies/consulting projects, as assigned
- Interface with clients to acquire business data, information and insight
- Understand customers’ needs, service those needs, and, maintain and develop positive business relationships
- Obtain sign-off on scope changes and deliverables
- Collaborate with staff, other departments, and senior management to share information, problem solve, and to clarify management objectives
- Assist in development of new reporting tools, processes and procedures to deliver value-added analytical services
- Identify and manage the resolution of issues with clients, their carriers, management, and other internal departments
- Assist in reviewing client’s financial reports identifying errors in coding and working with appropriate parties to correct
- Work with colleagues to ensure that Process documentation and Client SOP’s are kept up to date and accurate
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives for client processing while verifying and approving freight rates and surcharges based on carrier contracts for high volume of electronic invoices;
- Provide outstanding customer service

Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Transportation/Logistics field
- Familiarity with Transportation rating / invoices a definite asset
- Strategic thinker
- High-level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to work creatively and analytically, both independently and in a problem-solving team-oriented environment
- Have a strong sense of urgency, strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Strong oral & written communication skills
