Edmonton, Canada 1300 Applied Industrial Technologies LP Full time

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the **Mechanical Repair Coordinator** position will play an integral role in driving continuous improvements by providing leadership relative to service coordination and quality processes.

This is a key position with consideration for advancement within the Technical Services department and Applied Industrial Technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate reporting efforts, failure analysis, standards, and drawings, as well as other technical requirements of industrial repairs with Technical Services department.

- Prepare formal quotations to customers for repair work on industrial assemblies including inspection reports, detailed scope of works and prices to complete repairs to an “as new” condition.

- Coordinate shop reporting and internal resource coordination.

- Work with Applied Industrial Technologies Technical services Services to determine root cause failures, propose solutions to extend service life and communicate those findings to customers.

- Continuously improve existing quality program and implement company quality control manual, develop product specific quality plans as well as Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for shop use.

- Develop technical documentation that supports the Applied Industrial Technologies repair process specific to incoming work orders.

- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers and customers.

- Assess product improvement recommendations and initiate required internal change.

- Develop expertise relevant to the shop processes in order to support peers and colleagues.

- Generate work instructions for shop processes necessary to support the Applied Industrial Technologies customer base and repair requirements.

**Preference will be given to individuals with the following qualifications**:

- Engineering Degree or Diploma, or equivalent technical experience.

- Experience working in a rotating equipment maintenance or repair environment an asset

- Service orientated with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.

- Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred).

- Ability to prioritize and number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines.

- Extremely high level of attention to detail as well as strong root cause analysis skill.

- Ability to use both written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information.
