Barkery Spa is a pet grooming salon that implements a dog-focused approach based in Markham, ON, that services York Region and the GTA.

At Barkery Spa, we focus on ensuring each visit is positive for all. We operate as a **one-on-one Quality over Quantity **salon to consistently achieve this environment.

This means you will be tasked with caring for dogs individually to prioritize building trust and facilitating a positive emotional experience. New hires will receive additional training to ensure consistent quality and care standards.

**Note: Applicants who do not have a background as a Dog Groomer/Dog Grooming Assistant/ Bather will not be considered at this time**

Duties include:

- Provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets.
- Bathe, dry, brush, and clip pets while ensuring quality and comfort.
- Customer service
- Perform basic health checks on pets.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of pets.
- Keep accurate records of services performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Salary is commission based with %100 Tips

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $29.00-$32.50 per hour

- dog grooming: 1 year (preferred)
