**Concessions Manager** - We are looking for someone with experience in the food industry to oversee our main and pit area concessions, **must be available Friday afternoon and evenings along with the odd Saturday and/or Sunday from May to the first weekend of October.**

**Job Overview**
The Concession Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concession stand, ensuring that all food and beverage services run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team, maintain high standards of food safety, and deliver exceptional customer service. The Concession Manager will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for guests while ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.

**Duties**
- Lead and manage the concession team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee food preparation and service, ensuring that all items meet quality standards.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and daily reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock of supplies.
- Train new staff on operational procedures, customer service expectations, and food safety practices.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for improving sales and operational efficiency.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with cash handling processes and financial reporting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers alike.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
