We are growing rapidly and we’re looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with us **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** We are looking for a** Distribution Centre Team Leader**to provide a visible on-the-floor presence to ensure associates ship and receive promptly. This position will be based out of our 1510 Caterpillar Road Distribution Centre located in Mississauga. **WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE** - Report and monitor daily activities of warehouse operations, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service. - Participate in weekly team meetings with DC Management team and other Team Leaders - Assists with the supervision of the Warehouse Associates. This includes but is not limited to, training, helping to meet deadlines, and assisting to lead the team while maintain professional relationships - Accurately prepare and correct production of labels and documents for shipping orders Assure warehouse and all product and inventory settings are all complaint and action upon on the instructions given by Managers - Assist in maintaining and update all spreadsheets, Personal Protection Equipment supplies, and accessories provided within the department areas - Work to consistently improve the DC processes, including activities through ERP systems - Collaborate with Managers to solve work related problems - Closely monitor and potential hazard and report to Managers on any issues at the premises - Assists warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and leading the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime **SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE** - Warehouse Machinery Licenses and experience working in a leadership role are preferred - Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook/Gmail - Ability to multi-task with an attention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with an effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experiences, and styles - Effective time management skills, strong work ethic to meet, and stay productive under pressure **WHAT YOU’LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAM** There’s a lot of good stuff that comes along with being a DECIEM team member.
