**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Manager Trainee is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store, including brand management, and cooking duties. They will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive working environment for employees and preparing grab and go food items. This position is an entry-level management role, providing training and support to learn the necessary skills to eventually become a Store Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work proficiently with POS system
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations such as inventory management, cash management, and staff scheduling
- Ensure that customer service is exceptional and that customers are satisfied with their experience in the store
- Help create and maintain a positive work environment for employees by providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist in the training and development of new employees
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that all products are displayed attractively and accurately
- Participate in the creation and implementation of marketing and sales strategies
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute brand marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions, events, and advertising
- Conduct market research and gather insights to develop and maintain the store's brand identity
- Help to analyze sales data and create reports to track store performance
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, including safety and security protocols
- Prepare and cook food items according to the store's menu and recipes
- Ensure that all food preparation and cooking duties are performed safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure that all food items are fresh, of high quality, and meet the store's standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred
- Previous retail and cooking experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service

**Wage**:
Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.

Starting at $16/hr during probation, then $17/hr once permanent.

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
