**(Temporary Full Time; 40 hours/week; July 4- July 18, 2025)**

**The Town of Wasaga Beach** is seeking creative, energetic and self-motivated team players to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Performing Arts and Drama Day Camp Counsellor.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum age 16;
- High school diploma and previous leadership training preferred;
- Previous related job experience working with children 0 to 12 years of age;
- Experience through participation or facilitating cultural related programs such as: drama, music, fine arts and dance, accreditations including High Five, considered an asset;
- Strong interpersonal and effective written and verbal communication skills required;
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and promote town of Wasaga beach recreation programs;
- Effective problem solving skills required;
- An acceptable and current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference check is required for individuals 18+ years of age;
- Standard First Aid CPR - C with AED certification required;
- General knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
- Ability to lead, work with and contribute positively to a service oriented team;
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.

**Rate of Pay Range**:$17.85-$19.31 per hour**
