**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Operate hand tools and equipment necessary for painting tasks.
- Perform basic math calculations to mix paints and determine coverage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of products as needed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to painting equipment.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other machinery.
- Familiarity with machining processes and welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while working.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
