**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting as needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities such as cleaning, laundry, and household chores.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is an asset.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks and maintain a tidy living environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- A valid certification in Personal Support Work or equivalent training is preferred.
