We are BIG on supporting local Handmade Saskatchewan is Regina's original handmade only vendor network. And now we've expanded into two retail locations in Saskatoon. Midtown Mall opened Nov 2021 and Lawson Heights Mall opened May 2023. We have well over 200 different local vendors between our current three stores. We have everything from homemade jams, fudge, and candies, to home decor, jewelry, and local authors' books. There's something in store for everyone and product changes DAILY.

Our Sales Associates are responsible for effectively selling locally made products to our customers and for creating a well merchandised and fun place for our customers to shop. You are friendly, able to handle multiple priorities at one time while providing excellent customer service and promoting your love for all things locally made.
Your responsibilities include
- Helping customers
- open & close
- occasional stocking
- **knowledge of locally made items and brands**Show enthusiasm with each interaction, and sell to each customer, educate them on supporting local.*
- Keep store clean, replenished and well merchandised between customers
- Show up on time for each shift
- A love of handmade gifts and locally made items
- Ability to work hours based on the needs of the business
- Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and written
- High level of personal accountability
- Charisma - Able to approach customers authentically and interact in a way that is genuine and drives conversation about and engagement with our brand and our products

- Must be able and comfortable working alone as once trained all shifts are solo.
**Experience**:
- retail: 1 year (preferred)
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
This is a permanent part time position for our Lawson Heights location. I am looking for someone that will ideally work a minimum of 2 shifts a week. The current position is 1 evening and 1 day shift resulting in aprox 10.5 hours per week, possibly going up a few hours once school begins and staff availabilities change to evenings and weekends. There is always opportunity to pick up extra shifts if staff is sick or books time off. This position does not work for students as I require some open availability for occasional weekday shifts but for sure need someone for every friday during the day.
Lawson Mall has free onsite parking.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10.5 per week
