Location: Brentwood Care Centre's Behavior Support Unit
Position Type: Part-time temporary (0.7 FTE) Days - 7 am to 3 pm
**Salary**: $20.91 per hour
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the provision of personal care of Residents
- Utilize the Resident’s Care Plan to provide individualized care
- Promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of residents and families
- Complies with policies, procedures and work routines
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment
- Works in partnership with other individuals and departments to promote customer service for residents, guests, and employees
**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**:
- Health Care Aide certificate as per provincial curriculum (or completion of year 1 LPN program or year 2 RN program)
- Must be registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide directory
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Brings a caring, compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Mentally and physically able to complete duties as outlined above
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for facility customers
- Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to function as an effective team member with other staff, residents, families, and the public
