About Block 64:
Block 64 is a software development and IT services company delivering elegant solutions to some of the most enduring business problems. Our products have been market tested and are currently deployed in large enterprise organizations globally.

We are about to take it to the next level and need your help to achieve our goal of becoming a leading IT asset management solutions provider. We are a savvy team of industry vets who like to have a little fun in the office but are also serious about customer service and helping our business customers reduce IT risk and save money.

Role Summary

We are looking for a friendly, well-spoken sales development representative with B2B experience selling enterprise software solutions to assist our company in expanding our customer base. The sales development representative's responsibilities include generating potential leads, making initial contact, presenting the Block 64 value proposition, providing product demonstrations, negotiating purchase terms, and facilitating the hand-off of new customers to our customer success team.

To be a successful sales development representative, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, strong analytical and mathematical skills, an aptitude for technology, and the ability to present to an executive audience.

About the Position:

- This is a full-time position based in our Liberty Village office in Toronto
- Competitive salary based on experience and relevant skills plus commission (up to 50%)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or solicit new potential customers.
- Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inbound inquiries generated from various marketing campaigns.
- Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and how Block 64 products and solutions may address those needs.
- Presenting product information and software demonstrations to customers.
- Provide weekly sales updates, including a sales forecast.
- Collaborating with other team members on various projects and initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years of B2B sales and/or business development experience in the technology industry (software, SaaS, cloud services)
- A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Completing coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous.
- Knowledge of sales performance metrics and experience setting and achieving goals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented.
- Good time management and analytical skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to demonstrate and execute a sales strategy with new partners.
- Experience with the digital tools and tactics of B2B prospecting.
- Nice to have: Experience with CRM Software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
