The Business Inn & Suites is a privately owned 170 room hotel located in downtown Ottawa. We are looking for a Houseman/Cleaner to work full-time and be on our team long-term.

Job description:

- Regular schedule with 5 x 8 hour shifts = 40+ hours per week, guaranteed year round.
- We offer a free benefits package after 3 months of employment: we cover 80% of prescriptions up to $1,200. per year and 80% of dental/vision up to $1,200. per year, and a CAA membership with the option of both life and critical illness insurance.
- Hotel and/or cleaning experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Washing/Cleaning common areas such as public bathrooms, indoor/outdoor parking lots, stairwells, front desk/lobby area, restaurant, etc.
- Grounds keeping, window washing, carpet cleaning, small repairs/maintenance, etc.
- Collecting, washing, and folding linens and towels.
- Working effectively with housekeeping and front desk staff.
- Responding hospitably to hotel guest requests.
- Basic knowledge of computers, printers, door locks, TVs and remotes.
- Receiving and stocking deliveries.
- Re-stocking amenities on floors.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
